21 Jul Wed - outing with Wenjing for the 1st time to Ikea.was out w Bestie 1st.. enjoyed shopping @ Anchorpoint SC. Bought sth from Cotton On! too many shoes to choose from Charles and Keith and they were frigging cheap but I didn't get any! :( just thought I shouldn't invest in heels since I wont wear them often :\ went to Queensway SC w Wenjing & bought my FBT top! whoooo, so happy :D went to Gleneagles to visit Ashleen w Bennie & Zy but Ash was alrdy discharged.. I was damn sian.. could have went to send Bff off/see JAY CHOU JIE LUN. damn. 22 Jul Thurs - Christina came over to my house for the 1st time w Bestie.
Had a super great time together.. just felt thankful to God for all the great friends He had placed in my life (: it's not about how long you've known a person but rather how happy y0u feel when you get to spend time together 23 Jul Fri - bought colored contact lenses for the 1st time w Yt. work was ok, 3 piles of shit to tackle but yeah I am fine, having a lot to do is MUCH better than having nth to do. I rather not drink free milo than to help J. she is HYPNOTIZING... met Bro @ Orchard to shop.. was super worried about something but in the end I just decided to give up. Both of us were like quite happy with my decision although Bro kept asking if I was really ok.. 24 Jul Sat - ate at Old Airport Food Center for the 1st time w Ht, Hy, Maegan & Yx. met up with Bro, Hy, Qy & Vv @ AMK Kbox for Klunch! :D it was quite fun! bought Durian Pancakes for the 1st time :D super nice lah! went to Orchard to shop & we ate Takoyaki! IT WAS AWESOME :D I love it to the MAXXXXX. went Dakota w Hy to meet Ht & Maegan. DAMN IT THE DAOHUAY UNCLE/AUNTIE NVR OPEN. Made my heart BREAK. We still had a jolly good time feasting on SATAY, GRILLED STINGRAY, BBQ CHICKY WING, SUGARCANE JUICE, ROJAK, STIR FRIED VEGGIE & OSYER OMELETTE :D 25 Jul Sun - ate Shaved Ice from Chinatown for the 1st time w Hy. went Chinatown after svc, wanted to get my long dress but didn't :\ got Sy's stuff though. met Hy to get his camera charger then intro-ed him to the damn famous dessert! SOMEONE HAD TO BE CLUMSY AND NOCKED OVER THE SHAVED ICE MOUNTAIN :( some called Hy haha. I wanna go there agn to try the Strawberry&Mango and Lychee&Watermelon shaved ice. LOOKS FRIGGING CHIO okay! :D I totally love the Berry&PassionFruit Shaved Ice. Soursop Ice was okok only :( should consider trying Durian too!! CUI :\anw I have been filial lately. Ytd I ate breakfast w Dad, tonight I'm gg to eat dinner w him & tml we're eating breakfast tgt :D I feel good being filial :D I know he is emo because mum is nt arnd to kp/talk to him =p having a SUPER BAD day @ work. 1st my job is on the chopping board, I know M can't wait to kick me out :( 2ndly, I have colleagues who kp me because I am in SMU. I am honestly quite pissed, like WHY CAN'T THEY BE HAPPY FOR ME? Seriously, from SIM to SMU, probably the best thing that happened to me yet I get mocked at. I don't uds why anyone would rather want their friend to go to SIM. If any of my friend who are still appealing get into a local uni, I'll be DAMN HAPPY for them! went for svc this morning w/o bff cause DA dun allow her to go. damn it i hate DA so much :( always bully my bff. he shld suck shit, literally.had fellowship w cg! played Cheat and Indian Poker. M wanted to know which sch I am gg to or for a matter of fact if I am gg to start sch. NUS told me they din receive my 2nd appeal. what shit I cried ok. then super emo. I immediately sms ZY then she called me and like consoled me and discuss what we could do. So I sent my appeal to NUS again. Then I just emo during lunch. Michelle bought square egg tart for me to cheer me up! then GUESS WHAT? SMU called me and offered me a place in the SoSS. like seriously. HAPPY LIKE SHIT. I danced in the office and sang FLy Me To The Moon lol. Super happpppppy lah! So I called ZY and told her the good news! Then sms Bestie, Bff and Ryan! :D Michelle super enthu lor! I haven told SH then she smsed SH first! then SH sms me to ask me why I never announce my gd news! Haha :D :D: :D :D super happy until I hadto do out and help J. I felt damn emo there ok. and sth funny happen. I wanted to walk away initially but I kept looking back then I just jitao walk back to help those families. I rmb lending my umbrella to this mum to shelter her kids over then she walked back to pass me the umbrella then I sheltered her over, her face like so happy lah! Her husband so thankful also. It just made me very happy :D bought my stuff then went home. went to find dad then I did what most kids would do: EXTORT MY DAD :D I made him pay for my dinner even though my mum gave me $ to settle my dinners when she go Msia. Dad is just KIND :D I giving him chance to build good karma :D anw ytd i had a nice time :D went to watch INCEPTION w Rayner, Jia Yu, Evonne, Bennie, Eliz, Parry & Louissa! :D the movie was AWESOME la, super duper nice! then went to meet Maegan, Yu Xin, Chloe and Xiao Hong for dinner @ Botak Jones! went Rochor Bean Curd after tt. I cant wait to eat Bena Curd that Maegan is gg to intro! Next week next week! We left Rochor @ like 11pm. Jitao my dad spam call me!!!! Kuazhangzxzx. I think he was just worried! I wanted to get it cause bff said it look cute on the boy who was wearing it but she said if I wear it, it won't be cute and innocent because I am such a pervert :( bff no more! anw had an awesome date with Bestie today (: she treated me to a movie!! Despicable Me! I love it to the max! Watched it because Steve Carelll was doing the bg voice then OMG Jason Segal was doing bg voice also. LIKE SERIOUSLY! ate macs w Bestie after movie ^^ just chatted till she had to go :( then I went home for Cougar Town, oh yeah! instead of chiong-ing.. I went to slp :\ till 5pm cause I had to go out to meet Zhenying for dinner. Ate dinner @ Clark Quay then went Chinatown.. supposed to meet Bennie but sth cropped up @ the last min so she could't make it :( I went to buy desserts @ the su[er famous dessert shop instead.. just shopped around then found super goooooooood deals(whoooohooo)! Dad say he will sponsor me YAY. So exicted :p Bestie called me when I was going home then I wanted to say I am in Chinatown but I said zhong guo, like damn funny, I directly translated! Weboth laugh till damn kuazhang! main point was I was on the train :\ anw sth random, last sat, after shoe-water-incident, on the way back, we went past this bar then some band was singing "Nobody" & Yong Chang pointed out that there was really NOBODY. haha, super cui :(((((( is this a sign?

woke up @ 11 today, cooked maggie then off to cg!ended cg then went to meet ZhengYan @ Bugis. Was supposed to meet w the rest @ 6pm @ PS but suddenly change of plans! went Bugis to get sparklers! couldn't resist getting HELIUM BALLOON! so we got YuXin... PURPLE HEART SHAPE BALLOON! went to w/d $$ then walked to PS to get cake & card :D ZhengYan had to carry the balloon all the way from Bugis to PS. HAHAHAHAHHAHA :p met Maegan then choose cake from Breadtalk! cake was named "Pink Lady", totally pink and girly and gayish :D bought the card then met MeiShi & YongChang wrapped the present and whooo off we go to glass house! sth funnnnny when we were getting ready to go! Yc: ok let's put it in! Xt: huh let's PRAY? Yc: put it in la! what pray?!?!?! srsly my ears cui :( Met Junxian outside glass house then we went in :D wahlau I saw on the reservation list that the person spelt my name as Miss Tea. I SAID MISS TAY LOR! :( but ok la super heng can reserve! ytd i google they said cnnt reserve for weekends but ZhengYan asked me to try so I just tried my luck! Super heng :D sent ZhengYan and MeiShi to act late and lure YuXin over :D :D :D we just ate and talked crap like usual, then Chloe joined us (: so many pple celebrated bdays @ FNC then we were like super noisy la, just keep singing bday songs for the other pple finally we managed to do our own celebration! :D YuXin totally din know lor (: it was a success! super AWESOME! after tt went to Istana Park to play sparklers. I being LMK pushed HongYun & Chloe & YuXin into the water :D They got their revenge :( and I wanted to push ZhengYan in but karma got me & in the end, my finger got cui by his watch. went to fb after watching TBUP.. saw tt Vivien had pics updated.. pics with her Nus orientation grp.. super emo.. it just gets harder and harder to breathe.. I still want to believe in God for my uni!! & now I am off beef and club for ONE YEAR if I get into a local Uni. but I dun mind. anything for a place in the local Uni is freaking worth it. In life, you got to be bigger than the problem, you cannot afford to be weak and just let your world crumble. For every moment you breathe, it is all about surviving because competition is everywhere. I think it is cruel to gain success based on someone else's failure. If someone fails, we get what could have been theirs. There can only be one survivor and thus we cannot let our guard down. Every minute is precious when it comes to fighting for a position in the school or company. From the youngest to the oldest, nobody is spared in this cruel game. The young vie for admission to schools while the adults vie for positions in the workplace. Sometimes I don't understand why Sg only has 3 local uni. Competition is hard and the rest who are not performing good enough get kick out of the competition. We are forced to go to private unis which probably cant give us an education as good as what we can get out of local uni. Then when we proceed on to finding jobs, the ones who graduate from local uni find high paying jobs while those that graduate from private uni end up with lower paying jobs. or worst, jobless. We widen the gap btw the more educated and less educated internally in the country. The gap will never be closed... Although my future ambition does not require a degree, I would very much want a good degree to fall back on. At least a degree that can give me a back up job that I am interested in.. Sometimes I feel like I can give up the fight anytime but I can't.. something inside of me tell me to hold on and wait for a chance to stand back up again. I shall wait... |
