(written in his context) a friend of mine recently said that she envied me, for being unafraid to love despite the past hurts i've experienced in relationships, both interpersonal and intimate. what is that much dreaded emotion experienced when one is heartbroken, or hurt emotionally? pain isn't the word to describe, that sinking feeling of the heart. the increased palpitations fighting against the tightness of the chest, threatening to burst an artery and stop eventually. it was probably the manifestation of every emotion categorized under FEAR, not all at once, but as your mind swims into the memories shared with the loved one, with anger showing deceit and lies in the promises made, discontentment emerging from the opportunities missed, guilt creeping out amongst the pain you've caused, inadequacy screaming at your self-esteem, and finally resentment. why do we feel this way? what have we given of ourselves so much that betrayal seems too light a word to describe the overall picture painted of the failed relationship? our time? money? effort spent on the person? our first kiss? virginity? true love requires an ingredient much more powerful than any of the factors experienced in an intimate and/or interpersonal relationship. *vulnerability. **when i first got to know somebody, sometimes even after years of friendship, the usual defense mechanisms of holding in my emotions, projecting a feeling of confidence greater than what i had, and hiding my insecurities so that no one would ever be able to really affect me. but once i opened up that sacred part to the selected few which i feel, is "worthy" or "trust-able", i'm making myself vulnerable to the person. i have given and surrendered my fears, weaknesses and flaws to the person i trust. he/she will know what exactly drives me, what desires and fears move me on the deepest level. the person now has the full knowledge of my past hurts, my present struggles, and the dreams and visions of my future. he/she will know exactly how to lift me up to the heavens, or shove me down to the deep recesses of hell. he/she holds my Cross. but that's what true love demands, the transparency which leaves you vulnerable to the person you love, the person you chose to share with. though hurt many times, i've come to realize that i never once regretted being transparent or vulnerable to the person i love, the person i choose to share with. because at that point of time, was the knowledge that he or she was someone i could truly trust. at that point of time, was the Hope that someone could finally know the real me. though that hope has been diminished many times, i still hold on to the fact that there's still someone out there, to whom i can be truly transparent and vulnerable. and vice versa. because Faith is the substance of things Hoped for, evidence of things not seen. i have faith, not in Man, but in Christ. because He chose to be vulnerable to Man. because of His love for us, that vulnerability ultimately drove Him to death. Yay watched movie today! did 2 topic of maths. WHICH IS LIKE TTLY UNPRODUCTIVE.but alright man, shall jiayou jiayou jiayou. the movie was damn touching... MY LIFE SAD LIKE NO MOTHER LIDAT.I am damn influenced by RYANSEAHJIAPING. honestly.. his "blah blah blah like no mother lidat.." I have mother but she is nagging me! I miss yoghurt! I want to eat yoghurt everyday but honestly they're damn expensive. AND I HAVE BEEN SPLURGING ON YOGHURT TOOOOO MUCH >=[ and I always spend on random food which are not filling! okay man, enough of my complaints. Woke up early today and meet bff for exercise and swim. SRY YISHI I NOOB I SHLDN'T HAVE LAUGHED AT YOU YTD WHEN U SAID E WORKOUT WAS TOUGH. the title of my post sounds so serious.. but its just sth sillllly.because Yishi and I have to raise our hands during altar call this week cause Yishi so sinful for rearranging chips in Carrefour the wrong way! and for me... is ... HMMMMMMMMMMMMS sth damn silly also. but not allowed to write here! haha and nao watching some show abt chenhanwei. then my mum go focus on the girl who acted as his daughter say shedamn good then I was like "maybe I have this kind of talent but you din discover it" mum "oh reallllly?" ZZZ she so evil, but I love her. omg cant believe I am spamming 暧昧 again.rlly gt nth to do siah.
